There are times when the only thing that saves me from the web of temptation is an internet tracking program called Covenant Eyes.  I am not frequently tempted by online “entertainment,” but I have been tempted and I have fallen.  The experience is exhilarting (as sin usually is), but it ends with shame and grief.

Online pornography is “safe.”  No one else knows you’re doing it, you’re nowhere near sleazy joints where you might be seen.  That’s the beauty of Covenant Eyes.  With Covenant Eyes I know that my accountability partners can “see” where I’ve been on the internet.  That is a powerful deterrent to an otherwise “private” sin.
